Convenience store & tobacco distribution software: For c-store distributors, licensed and on the route.
DistrX.io checks each customer's license before restricted items can be ordered, adds excise lines from the rates you set and runs weekly route sales. Reps and the portal sell from the same stock.
Lots of SKUs, lots of stops, lots of rules
Hundreds of small stores, weekly visits and products the law watches closely.
License checks
Keep each customer’s licenses and their expiry dates on file. Restricted items can’t be ordered once a license has lapsed.
Excise lines
Excise is worked out per unit from the rates you set for each state and product, shown on its own line and on a report.
Pack to case
Packs, cartons, boxes and cases, each with its own barcode and price, all counted in the smallest unit.
Weekly routes
Stores on a weekly visit by rep and by truck. Their usual order is ready before the rep walks in.
Promotions
Vendor-funded deals and quantity breaks shown on the rep app and the portal for the dates they run.
COD & credit
Cash-on-delivery stores pay the driver, and stores on account are held when they go past due.
A lapsed license stops the order
Each customer’s licenses are kept with their number and expiry date. You get a warning before one expires, and once it has, restricted items can’t be ordered by a rep, on the portal or in the office.
- License types you define, each covering the categories you choose
- A report of licenses expiring in the next 30 days
- Every block recorded on the order’s timeline
Excise worked out, line by line
Set the excise rates for each state and product. DistrX.io adds them to each order and invoice as their own lines, and the excise report sums what you collected.
- Rates per unit, per pack or as a percentage, as you set them
- Shown separately on invoices and statements
- An excise report by state, product and period, ready for filing
Excise rates and license rules are set by you. DistrX.io applies them as you set them, so check them against your state’s rules. Nothing on this site is tax or legal advice.

Do you know my state’s excise rates?
You set the rates for each state and product, and DistrX.io applies them to every order and invoice and reports what you collected. Check them against your state’s current rules.
Can a rep override a license block?
Not unless their role allows it. By default only a manager can, and the override is recorded with their name.
Can I sell by the pack and by the carton?
Yes. Each product has its own units, such as pack, carton, box and case, each with a barcode and a price, all counted in the smallest unit.
